Whats the go to locking hitch pins for the receiver?
I bought some from Bullet Proof Hitch a few years ago, but their prices seemed to have doubled since then.
I hate locking pins. Either take the hitch out or don’t worry about theft. In the north east of you leave one in you’re asking for it to rust in. I’ve cut more than one off a truck.
I bought the master lock one from orielly auto. But my B&W stow away gets locked under my rear seat. Locking pin is just to keep the opportunist thieves from taking it at the boat launch or parking lots while I have a trailer on.

but others here will say great things…. I’m sure.
The locking pin on mine from Fastway that matches my hitch, is sealed with o-rings plus a rubber cap over it and I greased it too, so it shouldn't have any rust issues.
I picked up the 3" Bullet Proof locking pin... it was a bit high at $50, but I needed a new one and it seemed like Bullet Proof had good reviews. Bolt does seem like a popular one too. I have seen others that have simply used bolts and nuts. I leave my Anderson hitch in the reciever and locked whether it's in use or not.
A regular grade 8 bolt and nut with lock washer, or just pay the coin for another pin lock. I have a couple already from previous hitches (one is an Andersen) and these locks always seize up if you don't take them apart and oil them fairly regularly.
This guy makes a valid point about just using a bolt and nut: They're harder for a typical thief to access.
I use Bolt Lock and have been happy with them. I don’t leave the ball mount on full time, I don’t think that’s the point of locking hitch pins. I use the locking pin for simple security when traveling with a trailer so some idiot doesn’t either pop out the normal pin as a prank but also to lock the trailer to the truck on overnights (I have a locking trailer couple pin as well). When camping, I put the locking pin in the ball mount and lock the ball mount to the trailer couple using the other locking pin, makes sure the trailer stays put also.

There are to many mixed reviews on using a Grade 8 bolt as a hitch pin. Sure its only a few bucks. But I have not read anything that makes me go to Lowes and one.
