Instrument Cluster

Hello, this is my first post. I am a new user but have read the threads for years.
I have a 2005 F250 6.0 and recently swapped out the instrument cluster with a replacement from Summit Racing. Once installed everything worked except the door and headlight chime and the interior lights turning on when you open the door.
One unusual thing is that the TBC Fault that I was dealing with for years disappeared and the trailer brake controller actually worked. I sent my original cluster to Circuit Board Medics and they repaired the problems that I was having ( cluster dropping out, doors and windows not functioning etc..) and I reinstalled my original back in the truck. The repaired cluster works fine and all the features ( chimes, lights etc) all working perfectly except that damn TBC Fault is back and the controller no longer works.
Any and all comments, ideas, suggestions, insults etc… are all welcome.

May not be instrument cluster related. I had a problem with the TBC and
found a couple video's about it. Basically you pullout the TBC unit and look
closely at the solder joints. On mine it was real hard to see but if you look at
the center joint it is cracked. I re-soldered it and was good to go.

UPDATE

Just wanted to post an update.
I removed my Trailer Brake Controller and examined the solder joints inside.
There were a couple in the usual places that looked a little suspect so I re-soldered them and reinstalled the unit.
Same results "TBC Fault".
I found a brand new controller in the original box from a dealer and the price was right so I ordered it and swapped out the old with the new.
Same results.
I am planning on removing my bed as soon as the weather gets warmer to do some other work, and touch up the chassis paint etc...
The bed will come off easy enough because its a 2016 that I put on last spring so taking it off is a breeze with the bridge crane that I have access to at my work place.
Once the bed is off I can thoroughly examine the trailer and brake wiring and grounds.
I will post an update but again I am waiting for some warmer weather here in CT.
