Has anyone ordered the Ford front and rear dash cam? How many Ford points do we get when we buy a diesel truck, and how much cash value are the points worth?
Thanks,
Al
I would guess….. way less expensive and capable dash cam’s third party. I have two of the Rove R2-4K in my truck and they’ve performed perfectly. Have them hard wired to upfitter #1.
my points were going to expire and i got it, i havent installed though, i viewed install hardware and directions, and probally wont go that route as it is powered off the obd port and i would prefer it off a external battery pack under the seat, i thibk it is a blackvue unit, and i was looking at similar things from blackboxmycar

Like the Rove in my truck. I've had it in a couple of different vehicles the last couple of years. My only complaint, and it's not a big issue at all is that when the SD card is full it doesn't automatically overwrite and keep recording. I have to hit the buttons and reformat the card. Takes all of a few seconds. It just sucks when it's dark out and happens when I'm under way.
It is a blackview unit and I find it works great other then adjusting it by checking the sd card out of the unit. Picture quality is a lot better then my last dash cam.

Check your settings. On my Rove, I can set it to either auto loop or manual format when the SD card is full.
