Orange boots of death and the Stancor relay are musts. Along with intake and downpipe and you’ll have a solid, long lasting simple truck with that ts chip

Lovin it! What about the stock GPR is no good. Not opposed to suggestions but that seems like something that either works or it doesn’t. Am I wrong?

I suppose it would provide a more efficient heat up. NVM. Makes sense. Purchased.

Thanks!

Mostly it’s better voltage supply and unless you’ve replaced yours already you don’t know how old it is so it’s peace of mind too

the oe type really is not up to the task of the amount of current flow. They just don't last real good.
My stancor was on my truck when I purchased it...still rocking to this day like a boss.

Diesel Oxidation Catalyst. At least that is what I call the cat on stock Diesel exhaust systems. Perhaps it is incorrectly named by me on the 7.3, unsure.

Alright! Riff Raff boots, S&B cold air intake, and ISSPRO gauges are all in!

question on the ISSPRO gauges, the light up and dim successfully. The EGT moves right away once the truck is running. As for the Boost and Trans Temp. How much time do those typically take to go up? Wondering if I have a poor connection. Haven’t actually driven the truck yet, just idle quickly in the driveway.

thanks!

Boost won’t go up until you drive. Load makes boost. Trans temp will go up the same. While driving

sorry I should have been more clear. That came out stupid. Should I be expecting the gauge to move at all when it the key is turned on? The directions say something about “homing”?

Hmmm not sure about isspro. I had one as an egt gauge and it only moved with temp. I had glow shift. Egt and fuel pressure would cycle max and back to correct reading and boost would just sit at the bottom. Weird. I’d drive it and see how it does

If we are talking about ISSPRO EV2, they won’t sweep the range but they might return to zero position. For example, my trans temp sits at last known reading when turning the truck off. The next morning when I start it returns to zero position when it reads current value from sensor. You should see the little red warning light illuminate momentarily to let you know the gauge has power. For boost, trying towing or punching the throttle at the on-ramp to see a reading. For trans temp, it can take tens of minutes of driving to see the needle move depending on ambient temperature.
