95 F150 5.8L, keeps falling on it's face.
Seems to be, one issue, after another, little things adding up? started months ago after a stop, and on tip in, it would spit, sputter, catch itself then as if nothing ever happen, we're gone, I could 2 foot drive on take off, 1 on brake(lightly), 1 on gas and it wouldnt fall on its face? looked for vacuum leaks, like rla2005 said, brake cleaner, doesnt always find it, so dont use that crap anymore! seen upper intake was a little loose, got to checking, no torx head, ?, well where that go, dug around found one, stuck it in, all is well in the universe, ha, ha, ha, no, no, its not, 8 days back to falling, front fuel pump died, runs, builds no pressure, so replaced, aight! fingers crossed, that worked a whole total of 6 days, back to NAPA, (schleprock), so now ever once in a blue moon, it will fall, (it has cooled off a lot not summer anymore) so when it started warming up it was falling again, well I just happen to have my meter with me, started check ICM, BAD! wifey brings me my old one, now we're cooking with lighter fluid, squirted on the coals, 3 weeks, back to falling, different code, every other test, so, Sandymane had brought up finding a PCM for his before his died, with people on here now having hard time finding, and Subford was gracious enough to get my PCM part #, glad I listened to Sanymane, and got mine, my old one gave up, got the caps ordered, seen where Subford got them from digi-key. The falling on its face has been stopped now for 1.5 months. We'll see, seems watching my A/F ratio, go lean on tip in, instead of rich, had me confused, but now looking back it knew before I even thought about it.

Forgot, this is a awesome damn, write-up, on how to get PCM out, on the quick, even measuring and cutting the hole 45 minutes, old out, new(referb) in, that fast.
