i was wondering where i could get my hands on the old style deflecta bug guards for my 82 f150? I heard there a site that sells them but I couldn’t figured out what site it was i put an image below to show the style im looking for
I suggest looking at your local Craigslist to find a truck that has one. The owner might be willing to part with it for the right price. I bought a brush guard for my Bullnose that way. I don't think the bug deflectors, head ache racks, cab lights or brush guards are made for our trucks anymore. They're too old.
You can use this website to find Bullnose trucks in salvage yards near you. One might still have a bug deflector:
I'll bet with a little thought you could make what you want. See if Home Depot has some lexan and thin aluminum strip and some style clips or just screw it to the front of the hood.

DONT SCREW IT TO THE FRONT OF THE HOOD
I was thinking if you can find the Lexan the right size you might be able to remove the old broken one out of the Alum. and fit the new one in.
A little clear glue in in the slot and fit the new Lexan in and bolt it back on the truck.

Unfortunately Deflecta-shield is no longer around. The company was bought by Lund. Lund does make a shield for our trucks but it's not the same 6" wall of plastic like yours. You could try to repair yours. Maybe epoxy the broken piece back in?
You have that extra wing bend at the end. So if you were to build a new one you'd have to be clever about bending the plastic in three places.
I have the deflecta-shield on my truck. It's a single bend in the center. I love the shield and I've thought long ago that I should think about a replacement. Great for driving in snow and when there's road glare.
