Found Bull bars to fit our trucks (92-96)

Hello So tonight i was looking around Westins site looking at there classic Grill guards. Because ive been looking to find a bullbar to work with our trucks because of djx4yz truck on page 11 of the show off thread.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...trucks-11.html

I clicked on the Ultimate bull bar and then went to the applications chart.

Westin Automotive Products
(bullbar)

http://www.westinautomotive.com/Main...t-bb_apps.html

(Application chart)

As you can see if you look under fords catagory you will find the years of 92-96.

http://www.westinautomotive.com/page...ts/75-0756.pdf

and this is the pdf that shows the installation manuals for our truck.

Well this is the only one i have found made for our truck and will be looking at pricing one out. Just thought i would pass this along.

Chrome model number 32-1750

Black model number 32-1755

As an update I went looking more into it and since the product numbers were found in the only in the pdf file I have sent Westin an email askingg if they are still being made.

However putting the product numbers on google has shown many online finds for such products so if they are discontinued you might be able to find on online. I will Post Westins response to my email. If I get one back.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but why do you want one of those that hangs low like that? In my opinion, those type of gaurds are about the most useless and ugly ones made. This looks 500 times better.

That's alright everyone is entitled to an opinion. Just as I don't like the pushbar as much. I really like the look of them because of page 11 of the show off your pre 97 trucks thread. I really like the fact your not attaching the fact that your not drilling holes in the bumber . It also provides a place to mount lights which I might do. Doesn't really matter though need better tires and that's going to cost some money.

More or less Ive been lurking around the forum for a while now and i know some people have been looking for bullbars and just being more helpful for people looking for them.

I call those little bullbars damage multipliers, about allt heya re good for is putting some lights on. If you hit anything they smash the holy hell out of the grill/lights/hood.

I haven't noticed that anyone was looking for one.

Personally, I prefer the look of not havinging one. I also agree with the comment about them being damage multipliers. They can definitely do that.

You don't need a bar/gaurd to mount lights. You can just make brackets like I did since you have the bumper with the openings in it. Besides that ugly bar will hide the sweet bumper you have.

I just got an email from the company I ordered it from saying they can't get it (discontinued). I will keep searching, hoping someone out there still has one.

Westin never returned my email and its pretty much been a week since i sent it out to them. How hard is it to replay back saying if the product numbers I even gave to them have been discontinued or not.

I'm going to go speak with a metal fabricator I do quite a bit of business with and see if he can bend some tube for me. I think I'll just make my own and paint it black. If it comes out nice and the materials are reasonably priced, Maybe I'll think about offering them up for sale.
