I towed my neighbors carport across his driveway, and street to my property
put small wheels on the front and strapped her to the hitch, its redneck as hell

Not sure I would have thought of that.
was going to use the John Deere lawn tractor but figured it would have a loss of traction on the incline
we all needed a laugh anyway
it was just funny how it all came together. he wanted it moved and i spent hours removing the pita tiedowns then the wiring and a few odd ball things
then i bumped it and it moved free of the ground. so we jacked it up and put wheels on the front and off we went.
i am really going to miss my buddy, aint no way i am going to CT to see him
he didnt want to sell, but a sick adult child forced the move.
A friend of mine did something similar - building move. Their well collapsed and when they had their property surveyed the best spot to put a new one was where a barn was. So he thought about it for a while and ended up rigging up a landscaping trailer to hold the building. I don't recall exactly how he did it, but it was well braced and they were able to lift it high enough to roll easy. It didn't move far - less than 100ft if I recall. The important things were the structure stayed together and the spot where it moved from was clear for the well driller.
