Hey Joe,
Welcome aboard! This thread really highlights what I like about this
site. It's a nice community of Old Truck Guys helping each other out.
Your new wheels & tires look great! That is a really hard nut to crack & Stu & Mark
jumped in and got you going.... it's never that easy.
I think brakes, including the parking brake assembly maybe.
Brake parts can be tricky and I havent needed to do it since 2014 or so, but my method was to spend several months (yep....) finding viable part numbers, spend a little more time cross referencing them, then plug part numbers into rockauto.com
I found an entire set of (the wrong; 15"x4") wheel cylinders--all were discontinued NOS Raybestos. FedEx left the package where they shouldn't have and it got stolen.
"luckily" I later found out I had them wrong, found a new set of the correct(15"x5") wheel cylinders--also with limited availability--and received those. Hardware and hoses were easier to find. Shoes were available but not for long. I checked back a year later and couldn't find them, (got the first set wet with gear oil from a improperly installed wheel seal and had to use the part number to buy a set off Amazon)
This was for a 1967 Chevy C50. I love that truck but I don't know if I'll ever be able to overhaul the brakes again....
The current stable includes this 1969 Mustang, Mach 1, 351W, 4 speed, PS, PDB and 1986 Ford F150, 351W, A/T, carb, smog delete. ATK crate 351W arriving today!
Joe, The Mach looks great! The truck is awesome too and reminds me of a1980 that I used to have. Pic attached. We are also Windsor fans. Have one with a top loader 4 spd in our F1. Also just had one built for a 1968 F100 that my son is restoring. Thanks for posting those pics.
