Undercoat Done!

So for fellow F450 owners…. It took 15 cans of fluid film to complete the undercoat job.

Ugh…. Do I have to repeat this every year???

I did the same but bought the gallon containers and used an undercoat gun. Makes it go faster but no less mess. For best results every year. It’s not the worst thing I’ve spend $100 on for the truck.

I spray annually with a gun and a gallon of if. The air compressor makes it easy for four vehicles and the 5th wheel.

Just the high splash areas, such as wheel openings, suspension components, or areas worn thin. That should speed up the process a good bit.

Krown does a complete chassis spray for $60.
Took less than 30 minutes total at their location to treat the 450.

Do your research, many people do this on the side and depending on the size of the vehicle and who does it you can pay anywhere from $ 60- 150. , plus no mess, no fuss, no clean up. Turn key.
