What did it run you? We need one for a company truck soon.
$2500 installed. No glass, no lights, full size boxes on each side. Only option was the rack, the installer specifically told me not to order the lights or shelving, and to do it myself as the lights are a joke and the shelving is better done with plywood.
Ill take your original chrome ones off your hands if you want.
But my question is. I didnt get the LED bed lights because I know they would get damaged. But I just changed my order. Think they would half *** work ok?

I’m going to list the chrome ones at $80 plus shipping, but if you want them (have to wait for the rear ones to get here) I’d let them go for $60 plus usps flat rate, to you. (What I paid for the smooth ones).
For the lighting, I was referencing the Ranger cap factory lights, the installer said they are an embarrassment across brands.
my partner at work has the ford led bed lights and loves them, I’ve seen them on his truck, they seem ok on his black, SB F150 with a tonno cover.
for lighting in the cap, I’m going to add 3 12” superbrightleds.com light strips, wired to an upfitter. I ran the wire already in the loom from my under rear bumper area lights.
thats nice, reminds me of a ARE DCU unit i had as a survey chariot.
had 1 long shelf divider in each side toolbox, and glass windows and lader rack
interior lights were 4 magnetic leds run off 4 aaa batteries, so i could move them around, 2 for interior 1 for each side box.
i had a bedslide in it as well as i didnt want to crawl up in it.
on the bedslide i had a custom 4 slot aluminum boc so i could put tripods, wood lath in 3 and 4 fot length, and a spot for shovels, and hole diggers, on the top of the bed box i had small sectioned bins for nails, caps, flagging, etc.
the back corner of the bed box had a spot for the water keg cut in it.
it was a nice setup, that allowed me to carry my gear..
i had whatever wore out stuff was passed through the ranks for a decade, so when they asked me what i wanted, i told them..lol..
the truck they put it on for me was a office guys, so easy use, and it was low milage when i got it, only 95k miles..
so it was almost new compared to what i had.

its nice not have worn out stuff for once. This trucks main job is for towing for my side business, small excavation, grading, pads, etc. I put all my gear/tools from in the cab into the tool boxes, it all fit well, I may build shelves after I use it for a while.
I have a bed slide in my F150 at work, it’s nice! But normally I only carry shovels and fuel cans in this bed, so probably not useful.
