Ordered my 2022 F-150 XLT 4x4 Supercrew, 3.5L turbo, Co-pilot assist, 360 camera, max trailer tow pkg, spray bed liner, bed utility pkg, and a few additionals on Jan. 5, 2022 and received confirmation email the same day. Nothing since then. Was told 2-3 weeks till Ford "picks up the order" and should have the truck by end of Feb. Hopefully my sales guy is right and I get the "order picked up for build" any time now. Truck is being built in Dearborn, Mi., about 15 miles from the ordering dealership and myself.
Mid Jan 22 ordered my 22 Lariat and told 3-6 months, maybe sooner since I had stop start deleted. Build calendar shows NO F150 retail builds begin until May right now. Time will tell. Tic tic tic

Ordered my 2022 F150 XLT 302a 3.5EB with max tow and sport packages on 11/17, build date was 12/20 and just got an email yesterday of completion and delivery coming Between 1/20-1/26. 3% under invoice from my local dealer.
I'm about to order a Lariat myself. With quite a few options.. 502A..
Four-Wheel Drive
Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 Package
Tonneau Pickup Box Cover – Hard Folding
Spray-In Liner
Wheel Well Liner
7.2kW power generator
Interior: Baja Tan Leather, 40 / Console / 40
B&O Unleashed Sound System
I'm afraid all of that is going to take it a very long time...
When I ordered mine, my salesman told me to leave the liner, tonneau cover, mud guards, and wheel well liner out because they would require the truck be pulled off the line and sent to accessory shop. He offered me all items at dealer cost after the truck arrives.

He didn't say anything about that. I don't think I'd want an aftermarket liner, I had that on my Chevy and it seems to be uneven.
Built a 2021 Platinum 3.5L Hybrid fairly fully loaded in April. Notified by the dealer in October that it had been transitioned to a 2022. Still no VIN. 9 1/2 months later I'm about to give up. I expected a delay but this is getting ridiculous. Frustrated.

Don't understand why the big delays on the platinum and KR unless it is the two things not available on other packages; i.e., Massaging and full reclining seats or the adaptive steering...
Edit...after I mentioned it and posted, I recall seeing a post somewhere else about seats being an issue...
You do like replying with the old 'first world problems' thing.... First World problem- The term has been used to minimize complaints about trivial issues and shame the complainer.
Why be a d*ck and not just move along if you don't like that someone would like to get their truck a little sooner??
Truthfully, any complaint about nearly any new modern vehicle is a first world problem...so just shut down the whole forum?

Calm down sparky because you’re being very hypocritical.
Watch your language and have a good day.
Ordered my 2022 F150 Platinum PB on 1/26/22 and told to expect 5 - 8 months wait!
Hard to predict; who knows what is in the pipeline as far as parts for the builds (other than Ford) so maybe you'll be lucky and the supply shortages will heal themselves near term. That would make me very happy since my salesman told me when I ordered mid-November that it could be 6- 9 months and then called me mid-December to give me an ETA of Feb. 7th. He called yesterday to tell me that ETA is now mid-May. The recent line shutdowns don't give me any hope right now though that the supply line is going to heal anytime soon. There are folks that ordered their 2021 Platinums last June who had their orders converted to 2022 builds and they are looking at maybe getting them in May, so 11 months for them if the current date holds.
I credit my dealer with cautioning me at the time of order that it could be a long wait. Maybe you should question your dealers motives in not giving you the true facts. Ford can't control the supply chain disruption, the dealer can control what he tells the customer about the current situation.
