Using Android phone apps and Sync 3

I have my android phone paired with the sync 3 on my truck. Blutooth works fine. How do I connect my phone apps to sync 3 so I can use google maps? Not tech savvy. Thanks.

I requires that you plug phone into the usb port. Then Google maps, messages, etc show up and play nicely.

There is a module out there that will allow this to work cord free. I have it on my truck and love it. Mine is a 2016. Think this is the place I got mine, I've had it about a year, was one of the first in line. AA Wireless
