Unfortunately the ol’ lady got out of the unit yesterday and took the door panel with her… great. I’ve done some lookin on the webs and haven’t found the panels that are in it now. They don’t look factory but I like the way they look and would like to replace on them if I can. Does anyone know where I could find a replacement set? I think the carpet can be transferred and I’d just need the plastic panel.
The bench is shot as well but I can’t find a replacement cover for it, it looks to be out of a bronco because of the split back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Some vendors carry brown door panels, you will have to transfer the cloth overlay. That is NOT factory/OEM.

EBAY brown with OEM vinyl overlay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/18496703209...sAAOSw2jZhADjt
You need to get the metal finger cups. LMC carries them (currently out of stock...) Lube the door hinges, put steps on the truck for her.
Yes a 78/79 Bronco or SC split folder bench will bolt in. Or a 73-79 bench, or any Ford bench seat up to a 96 using your OEM sliders. The material BEHIND the door panel looks to be very thick. I would use plastic. Get the GM door panel push pins, longer and bigger head. Notch the door panel (where the 2 bolts head touch it) with the arm rest off to get it to fit tighter when installed. Arm rest coves the notches.
Looking at the (door closing) finger cup that is still on the passenger side door panel, it looks like just a piece of metal welded to the L bracket that the finger cup and the plastic door panel tab bracket mount to. The door panel has a tab that goes on top of the L bracket and under the finger cup, then the 2 screws that hold the cup in place also hold the door panel of the middle of the door. If you need a replacement L bracket PM me.

I really appreciate all the help. I’ll have to digest on that for a bit. That metal cup I made because my plastic one self-deleted a while back and I was trying to prevent what just happened lol. I’ll look into some of those links. Any help with the bench? It may be a custom unit I’m not too sure.
Nice job on the custom finger cup, but while getting in, out or closing the door, and your fingers slip out of the metal and grab on the lip arm rest. BAM door panel toasted.

Exactly what happened… I’ll figure something out eventually
Well once you get a replacement door panel, before you install it. Here is a trick to try. I make a metal overlay that reinforces the plastic tab, that is under the finger cup. And then the notch trick to clear the 2 bolt heads (that hold the L bracket to the door). That lets the door panel fit tighter.
The tab that is the only thing that holds the middle of the door panel to the door. Goes ON TOP of L bracket and finger cup sets on top of it.
Thin basic sheet metal reinforcement bracket. gets JB welded to the door panel.
This was a working prototype. I now also wrap the L/H part around that lip.
Even with a broken tab and missing the piece you can save a door panel.
What ever it takes to save a door panel with the stainless trim....The red piece came from a doner door panel.

Thanks so much for the info, as soon as I can find some dark brown units I’ll see about reinforcing under the cups.
To relax I set in the shop and make the shop trolls bring me beer and I get some pliers and make door panel reinforcement pieces for fun. Here are some pieces I mailed to a fellow FTE member (he needed just the stainless trim) and a tailgate handle. I am sure green interior door panel guys are screaming NONONONONO. Relax the bottoms were busted all to pieces. So I made him a couple reinforcement plates and threw them in the box with the other parts.
