Ok guys old question but new for me. I have a 2019 F250 6.7 XLT 4X4 and I'm religious about maintenance. Last oil change I used Shell Rotella T6 full synthetic. What I'm asking is a good oil to use and the right weight. I'm old school I change the oil every 3500-4000 miles as well as the fuel filters. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I hope everyone has a wonderful new and hope it's better than last for our country. Please don't forget our men and women who are serving our country, I'm retired military and my son gave his life while serving in the US Air Force. Thank you.

Thank you for your service, and I am sorry to hear of your son. My son is also in the Air Force. He has been stationed in Japan for a while... we are looking forward to him coming home to visit in a few weeks! And yes, we include the military and their families in our prayers.
As for the oil change, I would say go with Motorcrafts if you can. I will be doing my own oil changes and have enough T6 for almost 3 full changes at home, but I'm not sure what will happen after that. I will be changing mine every 4000-5000 it looks like and will soon be towing a lot, so I will stick with full synthetic 5W40. If I can't get the T6 after this is used up, I will look into getting Motorcrafts full synthetic 5W40. For now I just keep my eyes peeled and if I see any T6 I go ahead and grab it, although, that's few and far between. I actually need 1 more gallon to complete my 3 oil changes... I figure I should come across something by the time I need it.
Anyway, it's getting hard to find oil... good luck with your search!
You're asking what oils besides T6 are good? Using a synthetic like T6, 5w40 is the preferred weight. Why do you change the fuel filters so often?
I know it's overkill on the fuel filters but it doesn't take very long and I guess just piece of mind. The oil change a mechanic at my dealership told me I should switch. Wish I was on this forum before I changed it.

Thank you for your kind words sir, I know you'll be excited to see him. When he comes home just hug him and tell him you love him because you never know. I often think maybe I didn't say it enough. Thank you for your response on the oil I'll be looking out for that weight. Take care.
Here’s what I would do. I’d look at the manual and determine the right oil weight for your climate and use. Then go to the list that’s already been shared and pick the least expensive, readily available oil from that list. There are other oils you can buy. I’ve yet to see any real evidence that two oils meeting the same spec actually perform differently.
It's apples to oranges comparison, but after 150,000 miles with no trouble using Motorcraft synthetic blend in my F-150, a service advisor suggested I change to Mobile1 full synthetic for high mileage engines. Swell idea I thought. Until 2 oil changes later (about 7,000 miles) I had oil leaks at a rate of a quart a month. Never leaked before that.
Keep riding the horse you rode in on.
Dance with the one that brought you.
If your current oil (the one you have used for years) got you this far, keep it.

Sorry to hear you lost your son like that, can't imagine how hard that would be.
As to the truck...
Can you float me a loan?
Changing oil and fuel filters that soon, you must have a lot of extra cash laying around...
