Hi all. Just joined to get some help with my 2002 F150. I've learned a lot about diagnosing OBD2 vehicles since owning this truck. I much prefer my old cars over the computerized ones. That's why the average age of vehicles in my household is over 50yo.
If you are really good at DIAGNOSING, and not just parts replacing, please look for the post I will be adding soon in the troubleshooting modular V8 section.
As a mechanical engineer, I would like to personally apologize to all of those who curse working on your Fords yourself. My Chevy's, Dodges, Toyotas and VW's have not been near as difficult to maintain and repair as my F150. Ford engineers give us a bad name. I am reminded of that every time I have to change the oil, a coil, spark plug, O2 sensor, etc, etc, etc.
