crazy market, you may be able to break even a bit or more;
what rear gears are in the truck?
my guess its under-geared for those tires and thus not impressive in the GO pedal area
4" bds lift is not cheap,
for me i would dedcut 10k for the lift, who put it on and if it voided parts of the drivetrain warranty
it might appeal to a younger crowd.
You will get 70k for it. It might. Ot happen this week, but the truck itself is selling when available for $60-68k depending on if there is dealer discount, etc. It looks to be the premium pkge.
I just sold my 2020 back to the dealer after being called by my salesman and being made an offer I could not refuse. It was a 6.7 Lariat ultimate with Tremor pkg and did very well. It’s a crazy market. You will do well just stick to your number.
Fords got a lot of 2021 model of F250’s still siting with out chips according to my salesman I know. It’s at the point where Ford is asking dealerships to take SD’s without chips and store them in their lots and they will ship the chips to have local service depts install later. Of course dealers are saying no way. So I decided to take advantage of a hot market for my used SD and did very well.
Best of luck!
Agree. I would not give a lifted truck with aftermarket wheels a second glance. Someone looking for this type of ride might buy it.
It seems that a lot of dealers are doing this to trucks on the lot, especially F 150's. But I agree. Nothing against the OP or his truck. But something loaded up with thousands of dollars in aftermarket suspension components is just not for me. Too easy to be denied warranty if a service department is so inclined.
Lifted like that, who knows. Doesn’t that void the factory warranty now?
No. The lift would have no affect on a lose piece of interior trim. A warranty is for a specific component, like a wheel bearing. If this lift put stress on the wheel bearing for which it was not designed, then the wheel bearing fix is on your dime. The engine kicks out a rod? The lift had nothing to do with that. That's on Ford.
Doesn't cost you anything to put it up for sale, list it for what you need/want to get and see what happens. Keep in mind this inflated vehicle market won't last forever.
A large portion of people do exactly this to their new trucks. As long as the lift was done professionally and correct, it will easily sell. Might not get the all the lift investment back though.
And just today another email from my dealer to buy my truck and put me in a 2022.
so it's a nutty world
I've scoured my dealer's website every day for a week looking for my 2020 trade. Have yet to see it. I'm thinking they had someone in mind, contacted them and the truck sold without ever advertising.

ehhhh no so fast. if ford says its because x, its up to you to prove them wrong. Kind of expensive endeavor. They could prob pin anything drive line related on it, or whatever they feel like that day. Covid resale fantasy land is real in this topic
