First…my wife found this and yes, that’s the door from the basement family room to the garage. She had no idea it was the actual model and year of my truck.
Next…my youngest daughter found this. She painted the darker green and wood grain to make it a bit more like my truck. Yes, SHE knew it was the correct truck. It’s on the mantle for now, gotta find a place of honor for it after the Xmas season is over.
Oh lord a mighty! Either he is still hitting the eggnog or Hillbilly Bob didn't realize it was another Bob that has the cool wall and mantle art. Abe is gonna howl with laughter over that. I admit I did, as another green truck fan.
Bob Ingram, your wife and daughter are keepers!

I bought myself one this week. Back story…my son got into hockey at about 8-9 years old (he’s 35 now) after doing a book report on Mario Lemieux, 66 on the Penguins. He went to summer hockey camps in Pittsburgh and Mario even came out on the ice and played with the kids. Imagine a 12 year old goalie catching a puck that come off the stick of his hero (I’m sure Mario shot it directly into his glove)
So when I saw this plate on eBay I had to grab it.
My son gave me a present today. He was waiting until his GF could be here. It is awesome! And my wife likes it so much she wants to hang it in the house!
We were having dinner and saw this guy taking pictures of my truck with a pretty sophisticated camera. I went out and feigned anger it and yelled at him. Then I said 'No. Go ahead. Take as many as you want." It turns out this guy graduated with my son. So my son got his web site address and followed up with him and ordered a print. I like the several leaves that are falling.
Nice! My wife made ours in a ceramic class maybe 35-40 years ago.
Ours was also made about the same time by the mother of a close friend. When our friend moved to an apartment in N.C. a few years ago to be nearer to her children we inherited it.
