timing check

Where is the inline sput connector I need to disconnect to check my timing? what does it look like, and how many, what color wires are coming out of it? Any help appreciated. THanx

My 90 F250's is just to the right of the distributor when facing the front of the truck. It's just a small connector with a plastic plug in the end of it. Pull the plug out to set timing.

I found on the wiring harness to the distr. there is two wires going to just a plug, then to the right, connected to the block(manifold?) another harness, but this one has the wires on both sides connected. Is this it? thanx

Should be the wires with just a plug on them, only wires on one side. Pull out the small grey plug and set timing.
