I have a 2022 F350 CCLB scheduled to be built 1/26/22.I received a Weathertech gift card for Christmas and thought I would use it for a set of side window deflectors. Looking for any feedback- positive or negative on the Weathertech branded deflectors. Thanks, fool
I had them for both front and rear windows on my 2017 F-350 and I liked them. Them were a little tough to install at first (thought I would break them) and it took about a week for the windows to stop going back down when I rolled them up. The windows sense the resistance and will come back down when they are new but heat/ hot weather seems to help them adjust. I found that it helped to roll them up a little at a time when they are near the top to stop it from happening.

I put Wade in channel on my new 2022 XLT. Easy install, nothing to force behind the mirrors. The hot weather helps the window seals to reshape/adjust to the visors being stuffed into the channel. The longer they're in there the better they work. That's why the instructions say leave the windows up for a few days. Once the seals reshape they work great. Better to install on a new truck because the seals are still soft. BTW the Wade visor looks almost identical to the WeatherTech, but the install IMO is easier.

I had some AVS adhesive style visors on my F-150. I broke the drivers side at the mirror trying to get that little tab thing stuffed behind the mirror mount. Drove the truck with it broken for 13 years after that. but decided next time will be in channel.
I have them on my Jeep Wrangler and have had them on my Superduty for several months now and love them. I didn’t have any trouble installing them, just watch the videos on it first.
I gave up on Weathertech years ago. For a short time they had okay products but when they started spending on multi page ads in every car magazine they got cheap on quality.
Yes a bit difficult to install unless vehicle and weathertech are above 75 degrees. Put a set on my 2011 within days of ownership and ran for 5 years 100k miles. Ditto on my 2015 for 6.5 years and 97k miles. Zero issues. Great shade and really cuts down on rain coming in when you need to roll window down for gate access etc. Will do the same when my 22 arrives in March.

In channel window deflectors are the last thing I would like for the truck but the reviews seem to be all over the place.
Just one guy's personal experience. I could never get in channel deflectors to work with the smart windows. So I've stayed with stick on. I have a carwash subscription and have never lost a vent shade or bug shield.
But the in channel are still made and sold every day. Someone is having success with them. I just wasn't one of those people.

Would you have an up close of them on your truck. I have always used this style on my trucks but the black seal around the window is not as wide and attaching to the paint not sure about.

I don't have a picture at the moment. Truck is inside and lighting not the best. If I move it out later I'll get a shot. I've always attached to the paint. They've never come off and never been a problem.
I installed the deflectors after receiving as a gift. I am not overly impressed. My drivers side window goes back down if put up too far. I think the wind sound is worse at speed.
Experienced much of what the others stated, though my rear window deflectors rattle a little with all the windows down. Won’t take them off, so clearly I like the added benefits more than the minor nuisance.
