8.8 locker
Does anyone make a lunchbox style locker for the 8.8 rear diff that isn't a 7/8in cross pin diff? I bought one not knowing my 1986 f150 doesn't have a 7/8in cross pin diff so the locker side plates and cross pin didn't fit so I had to put it all back together open 😞

Turns out from 1983-1986 they used a 31 spline diff in the f150 that has a 3/4" cross pin vs all other 31 spline 8.8's using a 7/8" cross pin. Turns out my truck has the goofy 3yr only diff luckily Powertrax makes a lunchbox locker that I bought off ebay. Anyone want a spartan locker? Lol

I guess they found the smaller pin was too weak?
I am guessing this is a 4x2 truck as I think the 4x4 had 9" axles in them.
Have you used one of them lockers before?
In a longer wheel base truck it should not be too big an issue but I have one in a 92" wheel base v8 car and in the wet it can be a hand full
