I've got an interesting problem here. After my truck gets soaked (a good rain or a long ride through a car wash), the ABS warning light comes on. When I start the truck, the light flashes five times. Upon putting the truck into gear, the ABS light goes steady.
I can tell the ABS is off. However, if I drive it for a good distance or let the truck dry off, ABS light goes off and function is restored. I was thinking perhaps a sensor was getting wet and closing the circuit.
I had the same problem except no blinking. check all the connections for the sensors, water is most likely getting in them and causing a fault, that’s what it was for me.
