Hello all,
I travel a bit for work. When I walked out to my truck this morning in the hotel parking lot, I immediately noticed that my driver seat was reclined all the way. I took a look thru the truck, nothing seemed amiss. When I started it, I noticed the radio was turned off and my phone would not Sync with the truck.
I'm sure I locked the truck last night, but not positive since I used the auto start this morning. Im suspecting someone got into my truck last night, but I wonder. Is it possible that this was something caused by a glitch when auto starting the truck, or an indication of a weak battery?
Thanks
I've worked on a vehicle where the power seat moved on its own once, along with a few other electrical gremlins. It ended up being severe voltage drop at a corroded chassis ground.
Opening and closing doors when raining will let moisture into the side mounted switches. Pull the connectors, clean them, seal the edges of the plugs with dielectric grease. Do not put the grease in the plug or on the connecting points it is an insulator. If you want to add grease to the pins use the correct stuff.
