Oil in coolant and high pressure in cooling system

Oil in coolant and high pressure in cooling system
Quick question, would a failed oil cooler gasket (I suspect that over o-rings) put high pressure in the cooling system? I know the oil and coolant could mix one way or the other but I'm more wondering about the pressure. I'm not sure what the pressure differences are at the cooler.
