Steering wheel covers

I got my 2022 STX F350 earlier this week and love it. My only complaint is the slippery-plastic feeling steering wheel. Have any of you found a good, thin, grippy steering wheel cover that you like?

Get a WheelSkin leather cover. Much better feel than the leather OEM IMO. Will hold up better than OEM too. Takes a while to install but worth the effort. I installed one of my STX.

Can you share some pics of yours? Also, what color did you go with? Is there any bunching anywhere or does it fit tight and smooth and no shifting/sliding around when turning the wheel? And does it add much thickness to the steering wheel?

Black to match. Very tight, smooth, no shifting at all, adds very minimal thickness. Its a quality product.

A lot of folks swap the XL/XLT steering wheels for the F150 Raptor wheel. Its an awesome upgrade, especially with the Boosted Goose paddle shifter harness. I highly recommend this instead of just covering the cheap wheel it came with because it looks really sharp and the paddle shifters are a big upgrade over the ± buttons on the shifter.

I always preferred Superior Superskins to wheel skins. I found they hold up better. YMMV.

I didn't care for the Superior. We all have our preferences. I prefer Husky Liners much more so to Weathertech. Others feel the opposite (not sure why)? ;<

I ordered some of the swatches when you posted this and they came in today. I tried black, charcoal and gray and liked the charcoal best. It looks almost the same color as the steering wheel! So, I just placed an order. They didn't have a 2022 listed, so I put in a 2021... hopefully that will work out fine. They do look like they take a minute to install... I'm looking forward to getting it though. Thanks for the pics and the suggestion!

I like that Rapter wheel. How much was it and was it tough to install? I didn't know if the shift paddles would work? Do you need an extra harness as well? Any additional info would be mucho appreciated......

The raptor wheel was $425, need new clock spring and heat module. Boosted greygoose makes very professional harness. Them you need new clock spring, heating module, and heated steering wheel.
Then program the module with dealer or forscan. I chose the Raptor wheel and its Awesome! Cost $900, 2 hrs of wiring/work.
yes the paddle shiftershifters work...

Without heat, its maybe $550. The paddles work very well and it's an easy install. In my XLT, it was just a huge improvement in looks and comfort. The Raptor wheel is actually designed for ergonomics whereas the XL/XLT wheel is a piece of plastic bolted on because Ford can't sell a truck that won't steer.

We use the paddle shifters in our Subaru when driving in the mountains. It can be a worthwhile mod, aesthetics and comfort aside.

I installed a Lariat wheel on my 2020 XLT. I had a leather wheel on my 2015 F150 XLT. Can't figure out why Ford doesn't offer the leather wheel on the XLT Premium package like they do on the 150.
