One of the many things a Bronco can't do: Hold a bunch of STUFF...although I did order one...lol! These are TV's my charity is going to give away to college-age kids in Foster care for Christmas! I love my job! #BlackSanta!
I went through the whole process and 500ish days later I got my new Bronco (2 door). I'm not sure if it was the months of waiting coupled with the excitement then subsequent let-downs on build and delivery, but I wasn't nearly as excited to drive home with the Bronco as I thought I would be. I've had it about 3 weeks and I'm already back to driving my Ex to work every day. Excursions have a certain presence about them that can't be matched. The main upside to the Bronco is on nice days I can easily take the doors and top off.
So at the mall in chandler, they have one of these puny little things on display with sales people walking around near it trying to drum up interest and sell them, so i decided to have a little fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gei5LgVwV0E
I chit you not, i ran up pretending to be suprised, told the sales person who had two people standing there, THANK YOU. THANK YOU, Dude where was it?
At this point the sales person and the two people are so confused so i dropped the punch line.
Sounding as excited as i could be i kinda shouted, "Dude where did you find my shoe, i have been looking for it everywhere!"
The sales person was pretty miffed but didn't say anything, his potential customers were laughing though as i walked away.
Im a 6 ft 5 big *** redneck, and proud of it, hehe.
But seriously, look at the still picture preview on that video right there, When i buy a car or truck, i expect to take delivery of it all at the same time, not just the front half while the rear is on back order.
I live in a smaller town in Texas, so we don't really see new anything, unless it's a King Ranch 250 and even then it's rare. Anyway, I just now saw the Bronco Sport in person for the first time. I thought it was a Jeep Liberty
One thing I just don't understand is the naming scheme Ford is riding on these days. Why the hell is there a "Bronco" and "Bronco Sport" (which doesn't look sporty in any way, shape, or form, and really pays no homage to the Bronco as far as I can tell). Let the Bronco be the damn Bronco and rename that shoebox-on-wheels something else.
Likewise with the Mustang and Mustang Mach-E. I think the Mach-E should have "Mustang" dropped from its moniker and let that name live on exclusively with the Mustang we've all known for all our lives. Did FoMoCo hire the marketing director from Mitsubishi's Eclipse revamp or something?
I also saw the strong resemblance of the bronco to the liberty, and the bronco just seems like a waste, its a 4x4 ford escape, just give us the 4x4 escape if anything and do something meaningful with the bronco.
And @rsqfxr Dude you found my other shoe, but then @carbon coupe I don't want them back if someone got ran over in them.
Cars like that do actually have a crush zone in case of serious crash, its called the driver.

I agree on the bronco. But they are trying to bring back old nameplates to prey on name recognition buying.
On the mustang, everything has to have a battery option, or, a sister that is a BEV with the same name... Or the vehicle has to go away per the Fed. So instead of changing the actual mustang into a hybrid, can you imagine, they came up with the mach e. Brilliant for the hot rod guys that don't want the mustang with a battery. Wait to see what happens to the Camaro. Buh bye cam-zero.

This pic belongs in the "You know you drive an Excursion" thread !
I've had my Bronco a month and a half, absolutely love it! It was a very long wait, but we'll worth the wait.
35s, front and rear lockers, 4.70 gears is pretty sweet, but I got it for top off fun. For me it's much more practical than a Mustang convertible because I can drive it year round.

With that gorgeous Ex in the photo, I'm over here like, "What Bronco?" Haha. But really, the real Bronco looks fun. Did the gears and tires come standard, or were those aftermarket refits?

Bronco is All stock, the Sasquatch package adds the lockers, 35s, and gears. But I checked all the option boxes, 360 camera and a lot if crazy off road tech that are super useful.
Thanks, I love my Excursion. Only drove it 500 miles last year but I won't part with it..
