I guys I need good options for a tonneau cover for an 8’ bed. I like to roll it all the way up when I can and still see out the back window. I’ve had an access original that was okay… my buddy just installed a truxedo duece 2 and I like that it folds up from the front for quick front access. I carry a lot of tools and equipment in the back so I want security also. I have really been looking at the revolver x4s and the truxedo centry also but was worries how big they roll up to at the window with the 8’.
any help with pictures would be great.
Roll n Lock retracting bed cover?
I had one on my F-150 and plan on putting one on my SD when it arrives. Security is great, and really didn't have any issues with water getting in.
I went with the RETRAX for this truck but no good if you need a cross bed too box. I've had soft roll ups and the BAK FLIP and I like this one the best by far.

how does this hold up in winter? We get some rough winters I’ve heard of them freezing
I was impressed by the revolver x4s, and had one on (back) order. Although I cancelled my order, I think it exactly fits what you describe.
I went with the BakFlip instead, and I also have the 8’bed. With 4 panels, I can flip three flat forward and still access all the bed that I’ll ever need. Of course the last flip totally blocks the rear window. It works great for my needs.

I have a Truxedo sentry. I really like it. There are no issues seeing out the back when it is rolled up. Rolled up it is about 12 to 13 inches in diameter. You can see maybe an inch or two of the cover above the back seat on a crew cab when it is rolled up. It is still way below the backseat head rests.
I don’t have a pictures with it rolled up yet. My only complaint with this cover is having to open it before closing the tailgate. That took some getting used to for me.
I have the BakFlip fibre. Great cover. Great customer support. Only issue for me is I have a truck camper now so it has to be removed every time I use the camper. If left on the camper sits back too far.
Probably end up getting a roll up so I can leave it on all the time.

Same here. I ordered the factory had folding cover and it came with the BakFlip. I like that it has separate latches for each panel.
Over the years I’ve had 3 Bakflips. 2010 Titan that now my son has . The F250, son-in-laws now, and my current F350.
All covers are still in great shape although the 2010 is faded but it has always been outside in S Florida.
