OK, I've checked about a dozen different places and I cannot find a headliner replacement. I dont mind if I have to get my own material to glue to it, but I do need the shaped cardboard, fiberboard what ever its made of. Any other ideas?
That's weird. Down here in Arizona there are close to 8 shops that have that headliner in stock and can have it installed in 3 hours!! The best part of it is they only charge between $85-$100.
Here is a list of a few shops in my area. I called some of them a month ago, if my memory serves right some of them do have a headliner in stock, Hope this helps!!
Verdone Auto Upholstery- (480) 483-7359
Able Auto Upholstery- (602) 934-2929
Ace Auto Upholstery- (623) 931-5371
Hopefully one of these shops have what your looking for. I wish you luck!!!
Just a thought on the wrecking yards - I got a headliner out of an
extended cab truck the same year as my Bronco. The previous owner put a sunroof in, and it leaked a bit. Took out the old one,
matched it up with the truck headliner, and trimmed it to length.
Best part - $15.00. Same color, and in perfect shape.
OK I checked all 3 of the shops listed....none will ship..they want me to bring my truck in. Sorry but Im not gonna drive from Colorado to Arizona for a headliner. Looks like Im going to be running from yard to yard here locally. Will have to wait til next week tho. Im headin out for another hunting trip tomorrow and will be back Friday. I like the idea of getting one from the same year extended cab truck. Good idea.
Roadkill...it helps with sound deadening...thats why I want the head liner...that and it completes the interior.
Thanks for all the help guys! I may actually have a head liner that doesnt hand down to my head by the end of the month.
