Shutter when turning engine off

Within the last few weeks I’ve noticed that when I turn the truck off, sometimes i get a good engine shutter. it feels like the engine wants to stay on and it is starving for fuel. Lasts maybe 1/2 second or so.

You need to tell us what truck and engine exactly.
Also, any check engine light when this SHUDDER happens?

20, 6.7. No check engine lights at all

Normal. Diesels shutter and shake a little bit as they shut down. Sometimes you may also get a slight belt chirp as the motor comes to a stop.
