Hey guys, just made an account here as I am really confused on whats going on with my V10. I am pretty sure my clock spring went out as my blinkers and steering wheel buttons don't work anymore. But just a few days ago my headlights decided to go out. My dashboard indicates that my high beams are on as soon as I turn the **** for the headlights, turning on and off high beams doesn't change the indicator nor does the low/high beam work at all, only the parking lights. What could cause this?

We could use a little more information about your Ex, year, model , engine size, etc and we may be able to point you in the right direction. Have you had any water intrusion from your windshield? Common problem, the water gets on the back of the fuse box and causes electrical gremlins. Also look at the top of the page for the sticky thread, tons of information there.

Yeah sorry! It is a 2000 Excursion Limited 2wd with the 6.8l V10. I am not totally sure, but water intrusion is highly possible as I have a rust spot directly where the windshield and roof meet, plus we just had a bad hurricane come through a few months ago. I was hoping for something simple but as things slightly get worse over time I think some wiring is corroded and just getting worse.
