Darn Heater Valve Leaking
Of course the heater valve would start leaking when I’m 500 miles from home towing a 5th wheel. I did find the Four Seasons one at Napa guess I get to put it on at the campsite. How much coolant will leak out of that when I open it up? I’m 30 mins from the closest town that has anything. It’s the only vehicle I have here just trying to make sure I have everything lol.

I would drain a couple of gallons out into a clean bucket. I haven't done one, but that high up a couple gallons would be my guess. Throw the clean coolant back in after. Have an old tee shirt to strain the coolant if you can't keep it spotless.

I would drain 2 gal. You’ll still get some out so I would shove some paper towels under it to
keep the coolant off the wiring harness.
where is it leaking? Mine was leaking at the hose clamps. Put on some worm gear clamps to fix the leak.

Drain, replace valve (if needed) and dump the garden variety worm gear hose clamps --- get constant tension, 360 degree (actual) tight seal variants, twin ring (bolt), etc ---- anything except those chitty worm drives. A lot of the chittier worm drives are narrower too (industry trend) -- look for the widest possible clamp that meets your clamping (ID, OD) needs.
