X Plan non responsive

I began my quest for an X Plan PIN on 10/25. I mistakenly sent them a screenshot of an Etrade page showing the number of Ford shares owned. They quickly replied to inform me that I needed to send them a brokerage statement showing the number of Ford shares owned.
Since that day, I've replied 3 times via email with a PDF of a quarterly statement as well as printing a copy and mailing it to them. Zero replies. I contacted Ford shareholder relations to see if they knew anything or if they could help. Also no response.
I've been in touch with one other person here on the forum who is having the same issue. Has anyone else been ignored by these people? I'm talking about axzfaxes@ford.com
I've since joined the Mustang Club of America just to cover my bases, as it looks like getting the plan due to stock ownership is a lost cause these days. The problem might be that the truck could arrive before the 90 day MCA membership requirement is satisfied. But if reports here are accurate, the scheduled build week is probably not anywhere near close to accurate and on time anyway.

Why wouldn't your scheduled build week be accurate, or at least close?
The only one I've seen lately with any cause for delay is one on Christmas week, which might get delayed due to the holidays.
But that delay would only be until they restart afterward.

I've read several posts on this forum of people having dates pushed back multiple times. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence. My build week date is 4 days from now so we'll see how it proceeds.

Well, if it's this coming week and you haven't received a delay email yet, then you should be seeing a build day in tracking pretty soon.

I'm hoping you're correct. But if it doesn't happen there's really no sense in getting worked up. I'm basically driving a 2020 version of the same truck, except the new one is a 350 and a non FX4.
It's really the X Plan unresponsiveness that irks me. Especially if the truck does come in on time.

Well, since Ford can't build enough trucks to come close to meeting the demand, I bet they are cooling it on all plan pricing strategies.
Seems like there should be someone you can call, someone to speak to live, to get some answers.

Do the quarterly statements you are sending them show that you've owned the 100+ shares for at least six months?

I have not. I believed, perhaps mistakenly that this was for groups like EAA, Mustang Club, UAW employees, etc. Not the shareholders. But it can't hurt to inquire.

When they replied they did not tell me specifically to provide that. They said simply to send a statement. I don't know if they keep records but I did in fact use the shareholder X Plan when I bought a new 2019.
If they told me that me previous submission before I sent the statements was not sufficient, I'd think that they'd inform me that I needed to provide documentation about the duration of share ownership. But I've gotten a big fat zero from them.

I thought I would add to this that I am also being ignored. My wife and I both qualify for the shareholder x-plan pin.

My experience:
I got one issued to me successfully in September. When I submitted the paperwork via email, I got an auto-reply that said a PIN would be provided within 2-3 business days. I waited 14 business days and then called the shareholder line and was given the old "unprecedented times" spiel and said it might take up to 10 business days. Faced with the unprecedented times argument, I didn't have the gumption to complain that it had already been 14 business days so I just said "thanks, I will wait"...anyway I got an email the next day with the PIN. So, it took about 3.5 - 4 weeks. In case it helps, I sent two brokerage statements; my most current one (along with one from more than 6 months prior) showing that I owned at least 100 shares of stock during that time. I redacted all information other than the pertinent Ford info. I sent these statements along with the shareholder form.

Wife's experience:
Sent on 11/2 the exact same paperwork that resulted in a successful PIN generation in September. No reply other than the auto-reply.
Waited 2 weeks and sent the same paperwork again on 11/16...Nothing yet.

They could at least tell you to pound sand...or tell you what paperwork they need....or tell you that they are inundated with requests and it will actually take a month...ANYTHING other than radio-silence would be better. First-world problems, I guess.

Chris

But, they administer the x-plan, so they would be the ones to call.

Interesting I didn't even know shareholders got x plan without joining a club like MCA.

I sold my all my shares after the bronco price jump anyways though.

People that own 100 shares or more are eligible through Shareholder Relations. No club membership required. Well, we used to be anyway. No one seems to get a reply from them lately.

That hasn’t been my experience. I had a build week of 11/1 which came and went with no communication from Ford until Wednesday when they sent me an email saying my build week had changed to 12/6. I think Poncho450 has good reason to be concerned about his build date being pushed back.
