I will be towing a 24' Airstream trailer with my '75 F250. The stock mirrors do not give enough coverage so I am looking to go with West Coast Mirrors. Two questions:
1. What is the difference between West Coast and West Coast Jr mirrors?
2. Does anyone have a set they want to sell?
Thanks.
I never understood why there are so many mirror types... there so many redundant designs :\
The customer is always right back then. If they wanted what was on the last truck Ford adapted and retro fitted just to keep buyers happy. Now we have signals and extension, manual or powered and folding along with Chrome caps or not. I would hate to be a parts person now days.
Ford: Western & Western Junior Mirrors // Aftermarket: West Coast mirrors.
TYPE #2 are F100/350 high mount Western Junior Swing-Lock Mirrors // TYPE #3 are F100/350 high mount Western Junior Camper type mirrors with 3rd steady-rest arm.
TYPE #12 were installed on 500 and larger series trucks.
