f150s are getting the reclining seats. I'm hoping their more comforable driving for long periods. My 2016 2011 2008 2002 2001 were so much better to sit and relax in.

I drove 700 miles from the dealer to home, 0 complaints about my 22 seats! They are softer than my 19 was or at least feel that way
I placed another order for a 2022 yesterday since my order from June is in purgatory. I told the salesman if this drags on into March and the 2023 ordering guide comes out I would probably cancel and order a 2023.
There are plenty of websites reporting the redesign.

Oh yeah, those, I had forgot about them. As far as I know they are available on King Ranch and higher trims in the 150. Good for napping in the truck I guess. I would expect to see the same in the Super Duty at some point. Although I'm not sure they equal better comfort in the upright, driving position.
Oh, I laughed at the 6.6 mistake as well. That is is just one site that is posting up pics and I think they also had a distant pic of the interior and claimed it was more in tune with the f150.

the interior shot I saw was definitely the F150 steering wheel.
If one of those is what's delaying your order, perhaps cancel that to move things along. If it's your dealer that's dragging their feet, try another dealer. My guess it will be 9-12 months before you see a 2023.
I have a clean build. None of the options listed are on my build. The only thing I can think of is I have a fleet discount and ford doesn’t want to give those out this year due to current inventory situation. The dealer is a high volume fleet dealer. I went with them because I thought they would be able to get my truck sooner because of there size. Guess not
If the 2023 MY gets the 2022 F150 exterior door panels, they will not be as easy to break into. Exterior door handles have changed on the F150, and more importantly, it looks like the lock cylinders are now squarish versus round ... won't be able to gain entry with a pair of Channel-Lock pliers. Plus, the door handles no longer have that rectangular exterior panel panel that can be pried out of the way, so access to the op-rods will be near impossible. That alone may put a dent in Jimmi-Jammer sales,
FWIW, these are the current shortages on 2022 SD

SD running boards 18b? Is that all running boards on one particular type?
Does anyone know if the next superduty change is supposed to happen in the 23 model year or the fiscal year 23? Trying to decide if I should cancel my 22 order that has been sitting since may 6 still unscheduled.
damn sorry it’s taking so long. I ordered Nov 2, and got a build week already of December 6th.
To some, it’s not a big deal. I waited past the 17’-19’ to get the 20’ power/transmission and updates, and it was unquestionably worth it.
Personally, no chance I would buy a 22’, which is basically the same truck as the 20’, when the 23’ will be available soon.
New interior, with more technology, new colors, new wheels, and since GM will be cranking up the Dmax to 1075, Im sure Ford will be turned up to 1,100 or more.
