The AC/Delco or Bosch would be good choices but I've also used the NAPA "best" brand as well---new with their lifetime warranty.
BTW personally I prefer buying parts of this nature locally as opposed to RockAuto---issues of warranty replacement handled much, much more easily and quicker too.
With new starters, I usually buy online because of the price. You are correct, I would not buy rebuilt online. I usually check these places and figure in the shipping.
It's hard to beat rockauto on price, but the shipping will kill the deal sometimes. You can usually get free shipping at amazon and ebay, and sometimes advance auto wins since they have free shipping over $35 and that online coupon makes them the winner. They used to have 20% coupons and occasionally 30%. Here lately I am only finding 15% coupons, so that may take them out of the running.
