I contacted Ford Shareholder Relations via email. Apparently the information I sent them wasn't what they wanted. They wanted a copy of a statement showing how many shares of Ford I own. I have since emailed them a PDF of my Etrade statement 3 times. No reply. So last week I printed a copy and mailed it to them. Still waiting for my PIN. Not impressed this time around. Last time I had no such problems.

How closely does Ford actually check membership length? I signed up for EAA a few weeks ago, anticipating build and delivery to be >90 days out.... and now I'm apparently picking my 350 up tomorrow.

It's in the system, when the dealership enters your info it will either be an active x-plan PIN and work, or it won't.

That's what I mean though, I've got what looks like a valid PIN, but the Ford site where you generate it says:

Provide proof of organization membership (Customer must be a member of the eligible organization for a minimum of 90 days prior to the sale date of the vehicle). Any one of the following are accepted : Membership Card, Invoice showing customer is within good standing and is current, or Screen print of Website (Must show full name and member since information ).
Which I'm still about 60 days out from. Had heard they were being **** about checking documentation recently. Might all be moot anyway, I have no idea if this dealer even takes X-Plan, especially when I didn't know about it at order time.

My original inquiry got a reply right away from someone named Vania. I hadn’t sent an actual statement, only a screenshot of the website showing how many shares I have.
Her reply simply said to send a statement. So I sent the latest quarterly statement. 3 times because I still have no reply. Then the print copy via USPS.
Let me know how your phone call turns out. I may do the same if you get results.

I got X-Plan through MCA. My dealer asked for a PIN and a screenshot of my MCA membership status showing that I’ve been a member for at least 90 days. They apparently needed a copy of the membership status verification to include with info that they have to submit to Ford to properly process their end of the deal and get whatever money flows back to them from corporate.

Based on my single data point of experience, it seems that the dealership HAS to check that you meet the membership length requirement.

A screen shot?
Why not just a copy of your membership card?
As I recall, my salesman never asked for anything after he pulled my info up in the computer.

I’m sure a membership card would’ve sufficed (and is probably more the norm). I have one somewhere, but didn’t know where it was. The salesman said he needed something to show that I’d been a member for at least 90 days. I offered the screenshot. He said that worked for him. I guess the simplified takeaway is that I had to provide some sort of verification or they weren’t going to be able to process my deal under X-Plan.

Which site? Some go through EAA, some through the Mustang Club and others own Ford stock and go through Shareholder Relations. I don't think you'll be able to get the correct information without contacting the correct entity.
I do own a Mustang GT and maybe the club would have been the way to go. But at this point in time I probably wouldn't have the 90 day waiting period out of the way by the time the new truck arrives. Shareholder Relations is proving to be non responsive right now.

On the Ford Partner X-Plan website.

There are several of these that I've turned up in a search. They appear to need some type of code or PIN to enter. None appear to be related to stock ownership. The Shareholder Relations information that I've found lists no telephone.

As a hedge I joined the Mustang Club today. I do own a Mustang so maybe it's not strictly for X Plan. If nothing else the 90 day period will begin ticking off if Shareholder Relations continues to ignore those of us trying to get our X Plan there.
No idea what the hell I'll do if SR continues to ignore me and the truck arrives before the 90 days is up.

Not a useful update, but this dealer declined to take X-Plan at all, so no confirmation whether the time frame is being enforced. They said they just started taking A and Z plan again but X/D still not accepted.

When shopping this time around I found wide disparities between dealers. Some were strictly MSRP and did not accept X Plan. Some accepted X Plan but wanted to badly lowball me on trade. One would not even give a trade value until an ordered new truck arrived. How the hell am I supposed to get figures from that?
I found one that gave me a great trade in price as well as taking X Plan so that's where the truck will come from.
