Just added PTO prep to my order of a 350 6.7 extended cab as I was told by a Hydrabed installer that it made it much easier than trying to fit anything more in the engine bay. Anyone had experience with this?
PTO isn't in the engine bay.
PTO attaches to the transmission.
The PTO option is just a prep setup.
And, you'll need a pretty expensive PTO gear unit, it doesn't come with it.

I ordered my 2019 with a single alternator at the advice of Hydrabed, and the pump is buried so far down deep in the V it's hard to see. Never heard of a PTO driven HB until the last few months, so I'm wondering if it's something new? Buddy just bought a new 4 door c&c last week and is going to have a 3350 put on it, I'm assuming with the PTO pump. I'm anxious to see it once it's installed.
