Hi guys,
not sure if this has been brought up yet but I have a 22 350 7.3l 4.30 with about 600 miles . Shifts pretty smooth and haven’t noticed any of that noise during the 5-3 shift. But when I started it up today in the garage I could here what sounded like marbles banging around in the tranny pan in park idling. But not so noticeable when outside.
My 2020 has done it since day one. The dealer wont do anything with these transmissions until it throws a code. I was told, "these 10 speeds make a lot of noises".......
PS: and yes, it sounds just like marbles rolling around in the pan.
Sigh....yet another thread making me question my 2022 order. F-350 with 10-speed and Dana rear axle. Both appearing problematic especially the Dana.
The forum is going to sell a lot of extended warranties ……. I think on the 10 speed, it will be very prudent to have warranty coverage for as long as you can get it…..
What is the standard drivetrain warranty from Ford?

I love that excuse. As soon I get some time I’m going to bring it in to have them look at it. Can’t wait for the , this is normal for these transmissions. Thank god for the esp I guess.

Has anyone with this noise, had success identifying, and repairing it?
