302 to 351

So I have a 1990 f 150 with a 302 that needs a head gasket but I also have a parts truck it's a 1996 f 250 with a 351 with a bad trans really would like to just swap the 351 into it. Questions are can the 351 mount to motor mounts in the 1990 with the 302. And will the computer for the trans on the 351 work right with 302 one.

It is almost a direct swap. If it is reusable, you will need the Y pipe from the 96 because the 351 is slightly wider and taller than the 302. Do not use any of the wiring harness or computer from the ‘96.

What about fly wheel and so all wiring from 302 will work with 351

No, you'll need the 351W Flywheel. The 302 Flywheel will not be balanced correctly.

Almost. You will need to source an early 5.8 distributor that carries the TFI module on the side.
