I have a 1997 F350. I have loved this truck since I got it. But last week has ran me threw the ringer. starting with the trucks turbo pedestal O-rings going bad and ending with re sealing injectors. now that everything is back together though, the truck runs fine no miss or anything. except for a awful vibration. To start out I re built the turbo and did O-rings. That went just fine, it ran fine but still burned loads of oil. so I did injector O-rings, that is where it went less great in the the prosses of doing so I hydro locked the motor. after reading some forms and reading that you can try to spin it over by hand a few times I tried that and I gave it my all, maybe a little too much. but I ended up pulling the glow plugs and got all the oil out and it started right up. But now it has a awful vibration/ harmonization from the motor. now keep in mind its not missing or lose power to my understanding. unlike most threads I've seen. mine does it all the time on power, off power, and at idle. but no knocking it almost sounds like a power steering pump crying for help as you burn it alive but with a bit of vibrations. it is a auto so its not the clutch or anything. any input would be lovely as it is my daily and I do drive it to work.
I'm pretty sure that something went wrong, when you did the injector o-rings.
Did you put new nozzles and springs, internal o-rings?
Pulling injectors just for external o-rings is a waste of time IMO.

I onky did the o-rings. The injectors ran great before and still do they were just allowing oil to get past. my fear is that i messed up my harmonic balancer when i was trying to turn it over by hand or worse messed up a rod. But all of the oil was out from the cylinders when the truck actually started. so i don't really think its a rod.
