1996 F150 2WD sway bar installation
Hey there, I have a base model 2WD truck without a sway bar and I'm looking to install one. I have no problem sourcing the bar itself, bushings and sway bar links but I can't find whatever part attaches the end link to the I beam. I don't know what they're called but I've attached a parts diagram from LMC Truck showing the part used on the base model trucks without the sway bar.

Yep, plenty around. The rear setup is easy to grab...but do not just install it without the front as understeer chances can increase with too much rear bias.
For the fronts you need a 29mm socket as I recall or a 1-1/8" I just pulled a set for my '92 this summer. Just loosen the upper spring clip (forgot size) and remove shock. Douche it with penetrating oil first and bring plenty of extensions. Need minimum 1/2" drive stuff, 3/4" preferred.

Dog bones and bushings
Brackets would be wrecking yard sourced

The part you circled in yellow does not look like it is for a 2WD with sway bar. Mine has an extension to take the "dog bone". You will need that extension that is part of the piece to take the dog bone. In my picture you can see the top of the dog bone and where it attaches to the piece. So it does protrude out more that what the yellow highlight shows. You also need part number 7 in your drawing. Mine is shown as white in the pic. It is called a lower coil spring insulator. You also need part 1 in McLeods drawing along with the bracket that surrounds it.
