Searched around, not much on this forum related to replacing a rear tail light assembly. I have a 2020 Superduty, I cracked my passenger side rear LED tail light assembly which has bliss. As best I can tell, I can buy a replacement and swap out the metal part on the backside of the new one with the one from my truck and it should work without having to take it to a dealer to get the truck to recognize the new assembly?
Yes, they are the led lights with BLISS. I bought the part through a buddy that runs a local repair shop, the assembly was around $1000.00 ( Canadian ). I swapped out the BLISS unit from the old one and put it in the new one myself.
..
on my 2021 i crunched the driver rear light assembly, by backing into a tree at the hog lease. it was dark and ...well you know
there is no parts swap for the inerds, i had to buy a whole assembly at around 800 buckaroos. fairway ford had them on their ebay site
you would have to break the lenses apart to swap out the internals if you look at how they are built
