I've been trying to find the exact distance said I need for an 86 Ford 300 and I ordered some off RockAuto they sent me all the right one set for 2 and by the time I open the box because I checked one box so it's good I didn't check the other one it was too late to return them and I could not order them up at Napa or anyting so I tried to get them on eBay they sent me another set that looked right but then the pins wrong they were too small for the connecting rods so find a place to buy the pistonheads any advice are references I'm trying to bring this classic back to life I got everything else I just need the Pistons I got new everything else
What are you asking the size of?
It reads like you need the piston size? If so we cant help as you would need a shop to measure the each hole, six of them, to see what the largest one is and then find a set of pistons to fit that hole and the rest would need to be machined to fit the rest.
Then you say pin size was to small on another set?
Are you working with a machine shop? If so they should be able to get the right parts as they would need to do the work anyway.
