Shifter stub swap?
I'm wondering if I can use a shifter stub from a zf s5-47 in a s5-42? I can't find a replacement for the shifter stub from my '89 F Super Duty (part #1307218006).
The part number for the s5-47 shifter is 1317218002.
Thoughts and insights would be appreciated. I dont want to drop the money on the only ones I can find (~$200) if it's not gonna fit anyways.
