Fuel filter housing
Need to replace fuel filter housing was going to go with the 6.9 housing that does not have heater and other outlets causing more leaks. Is this a good idea, if so where can I find one? Thanks

Start looking for an over priced one on E-Bay.
Start checking the junk yards in your area.
There is www.row52.com type in what vehicle you are looking for,
and it will search all the PNP yards in the area, 100 miles, 500 miles
from where you live. Click on the F250`s to see what engine they have.
So 83 - 86 will have what you are looking for.
You will have to go and pick it and pull it.
Some one might jump in here and have one also.
There is also Craigs List and maybe others.

what is wrong with yours that you need to replace it?
if it is just the heater leaking, remove it, put a brass pipe plug in the hole, and finish it off with a coating of jb weld. it will never leak again.

agreed, it is another good choice. the reason i go for the 40222 over the 40290 is lift capability. the 40222 has a 10 foot vertical lift, the 40290 is only 5 foot lift.
