So I just built a SC 250 and SC 350 yesterday on the ford site and got confused when choosing the interior. I kind of like the baja color but you can get either buckets or a bench with a fold down console, like my y2k has. The pics showed 2 versions of the seating colors. One had a black console with the buckets and another had a baja console on either choice. The black just looked wrong...
So what is it?
Playing around on the build site I was able to choose the baja color under "interior" and then you can select either the Premium Leather-trimmed Split Bench 40/20/40 Front Seats or the Premium Leather-trimmed 40/Console/40 Front Seats
I could be wrong, but I think if you get the buckets with the normal console it will be black. The split bench with the folding console would be baja color. I don't think I've ever seen the deep console that comes with the buckets anything but black. This I'm less sure about, but I don't think I've ever seen the fold down console in a dark color when the seats are light.
Edit: Just looked on the build site and see that they show a baja color center console lid with the baja bucket seats. So yeah I have no clue what I'm talking about The baja interior does look good though.

You might be right, but I found it strange that it was shown both ways on the ford site when I flipped between both options. It started with black so I chose the bench style which showed baja. The I went back to console and now it was baja also. Curious...
Since I've never had a deep console with buckets...what is the advantage? Nobody can sit there, ever, but a lot more storage?
I guess it should not matter which cab style is chose as they all share the same front seats, right?
In this screenshot, they show two different color center console lids with the bucket seats. So it's still unknown. I'm guessing the lid would be baja though. Only reason I say that is the smaller image on the left is older, and actually shows the camel color interior not baja (pure speculation on my part). So with that said, I'm guessing the center console lid would be baja.
I love the large center console with the buckets. It's cavernous. You can fit a bunch down in there.
All Baja interiors come with the center console lid in Baja. Doesn't matter if it is a Super Cab or Crew Cab The pictures on the Ford website showing the darker lid are left over from the 2021 website. There are numerous pictures on this forum of folks with the 2022 Baja interior and they all have the lighter Baja console lid. And in case you were wondering, the door armrests are also the lighter Baja on the 2022's instead of the darker armrests that were in the 2021's with the Camel. I have a 2022 F-250 with the Baja interior on order so I've been very careful to know what it was coming with.
Thanks guys, I feel better now, whew!
Didn't know if I finally went over the edge, lol
But so far, has anyone posted that actually has this beast yet?
If not, let's hear about it...
I thought about the baja interior, but it's too easy to get dirty.
My lincoln has a light tan color interior, and it's the one thing I really don't like on it.

Thread killer...lol
So maybe they will put a baja center in your black interior?
This issue pushed me into a King Ranch. In the Spring, even the dealer couldn't tell me what color was correct and I didn't want to roll the dice and get a 50/50 black and tan interior. I'm thriller with the KR, so it worked put great, but Ford needs too get their ****** together on this stuff.
