Droped Solid Axle
Will a solid front axle from a 56' fit on my 61 unibody? I want to lower it about 2" and you can get droped axles for a 56' but not a 61'-64'. I dont want to do the ifs thing because I might end up restoring it later down the road.

This is what mid fiffty's told me.
"We put one in a 60 back in the late 70's and it worked but had to use the
1953-56 spindles and king pins. Also because of the depth of the axle we
only got 2 inches out of the 3 drop. The 60 axle is already a drop of an
inch from the 56."
