There are several different styles. Just Google 2018 F150 SuperCab running boards, then go to images.
I should have notified you that I've done the "Google" search, however I did it again per your recommendation. As you may have found if you performed the search. You'll find images of every company out there trying to sell you their chinese crappy running boards. I simply was hoping to see a picture of a Ford OEM running board. I guess I'll do it the old fashioned, before forums way and visit a car lot and see if I can find a '15-'20 F150 with factory running boards.
I tried modifying the search by adding OEM and factory, it knocks out some of the aftermarket stuff, but not all. If you go down to the dealer you may not find any lot with more than just a few in stock.
I wonder if you went to a Ford dealer and talk with the part counter if they could show you the running board options for that model year. Just a thought. Good luck.
Mine has the basic black factory boards. My last truck had factory steps and they held up great, way better than anything I have ever added from the aftermarket. I do not really understand the point of moving the boards up tight to the body, sort of defeats the purpose when the step is 3 inches below the sill IMO. My wife sure appreciates the steps. The frame of the truck is still lower than the factor boards so "as designed by Ford" is working great for me, has for years.
I did really like the steps on my Raptor though and if adding steps I would probably go that route with the exception of mounting them so close to the body. The purpose being to offer that actual step in the middle. Top of my boards are 18 inches off the ground and 12 inches from there into the truck. Very natural and well designed IMO. Good Luck with the choice.
I wonder what running boards the OP ended up buying? He's been active on the site as recently as a few weeks ago.
FWIW, I installed Iron Cross Patriot Boards on my 2020 F150 and they're great. Manufactured in Tulsa, OK! Plus, momma and my daughters think getting in and out of the truck is much easier now.

Tell us more. They make quite a wide range of running boards.

How much wider do they stick out than those horrible factory boards? I want a bit wider AND lower than factory. The ones on my 2004 superduty were perfect for us.
Super Duty running boards from 2017 and up fit F150s. They hang about 2" lower. It's a common mod. Super Duty owners will also switch to F150 boards so that they get more ground clearance. Actually, you can just swap the brackets as the boards themselves are the same.
The boards I put on my F150 have alot of adjustment. Currently, they're as close to the truck and as high as they go. They have at least 2 inches of movement up/down and in/out.
