No Weld Axel
Got up at the crack of dawn this morning as soon as it got light ran into Durango town to wash my 2021 F350. After washing the truck I dropped by the local Ford dealer that is right across from the car wash. And it did look like a ghost town. But there was one brand new F250 Super Cab King Ranch sitting there. I stopped & wanted to see if it had the heavy ton axel under it. By gosh it did. Guess what? No welds across the front where the spring mounts to the rear end housing. So, looks like they are back to the right axel tubes now. My truck built in 5-27 of course has the factory weld on the axel. After 3000 miles I don't think that it is going to be a problem. So far my F350 has been perfect. Drives straight, 10 speed transmission shifts like a dream come true. Engine is strong & powerful. So far no bugs. I'm liking it more & more all the time. I feel lucky when so many are having rear end gear set problems but I guess that started after my truck was built.
