I've got a 2008-2016 F350 bed on my project truck and curious what other tailgates will fit in that hole. Like what's the difference between a 2007 and 2008 or difference between 2016-2017 other than steel vs aluminum. I'm just having problems locating a good condition tailgate and wondering if I could go with something else. I have changed the body lines of the bed sides to match a 1972 but married into the 2008 style taillights. So the back of the bed is a 2008.
